As part of its commitment to community development in South Africa, Southern Business School contributes financially to a number of institutions who are focused on making a positive contribution to the welfare of all South Africans. One such institution is the NG Gemeente Krugersdorp-Noord. They are fully committed to the community and are actively involved in making a difference by:
- running a soup kitchen twice a week catering for between 50 and 100 people;
- helping families in the Krugersdorp North area who are struggling financially;
- giving financial assistance to drug addicts and alcoholics so that they can be admitted for rehabilitation;
- caring for the aged at the Tswelopele Frail Care centre in Hillbrow, Moria and Môreglans old age homes;
- providing clothes, money and essential items to individuals who may need assistance and
- support for the elderly in the community on an ongoing basis.
Southern Business School is proud to be able to contribute in a small way to such a noble cause. Email Jenny Coles or phone her at 011 662 1444 should you require further information on this project or would like details on how to make a contribution.
