Distance Learning

Programmes are specifically designed to address the needs of the distance learning student. The study material is interactive and user friendly and support mechanisms focus on enriching the learning experience of the distance learner. Distance Learning affords the student the opportunity to study at his or her own pace anywhere in South Africa or the rest of the world. Because a learner studies via distance learning at Southern Business School, it is easier to manage a personal life, a career, and studies.

Language

All programmes are presented in English. The Language Policy of Southern Business School is summarised in the following provisions:

• English is the default language of undergraduate and postgraduate learning and instruction;
• The academic literacy of students in English will be developed systematically;
• Southern Business School will provide language services with respect to English through integration with mainstream curriculum content and development through real discipline-specific tasks.
